Skype-A-Scientist is an excellent avenue for connecting scientists directly with the classroom. I have participated in ten of these education sessions, answering questions about science and what it means to be a scientist.
Great Big Story: Mission Wild
In 2018, a crew from Great Big Story came to UCSC to film the work being done by
Dr. Dan Costa's lab group, with a focus on our efforts to better understand the ocean through our study of northern elephant seals.
